Working with schools and young people from Thurrock to Folkestone, from Portsmouth to Havant, our playwright Vicky Donoghue has adapted the book into an intense 24 hour drama. The play dramatically explores themes of post-Brexit Britain and its response to the "other", via the play's central character white British teenager Alix and her friendship with Iraqi fellow pupil Samir.

- Its 60mins long supported by a workshop exploring themes with regards British Values – rule of law, respect for other cultures, democracy – and a post show chatback session
